Holladay Hills is a family owned and operated facility in the rolling hills of western Kentucky which specializes in eventing, hunter/jumpers and dressage. English Riding InstructionWe like to instill good horsemanship. Students will know how to handle, tack and groom horses. Students will be learning balance and an independent seat. We hope to instill an appreciation and respect along with love for this animal and the great partnerships you can form with them.Equipment RequiredBoots are required to ride.A helmet is preferred. However, we can supply one as needed. All other equipment is supplied by Holladay Hills Stable. PoliciesOur goal is to provide a safe and satisfactory learning environment.Age: Instruction age ranges from a minimum of age 6 (approved upon evaluation) to adult. Fees*: Private lesson on our horse; 30-40 minutes $35 Private lesson on your horse (hauled in) $30 Group lesson (consisting of no more than 3 students) on our horses; 1 hour $30 Lesson at your place $35 within a 35 mile radius. (Rate increases with higher mileage) Cancellations: We will reschedule any cancellations on our part. Cancellations by students due to failure to attend a lesson without due notice via phone call are not excused and will result in the student still being responsible for payment. We will notify the students if cancellations must be made due to inclement weather. Arrival time: Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before the beginning of the scheduled lesson, as there may be details to be taken care of then. Time lost due to lateness cannot be made up.
